The Founder : Gaurang Jhaveri

Born into a family of jewelers, Gaurang Jhaveri was always drawn to rare gemstones and the art of fine jewelry. Managing his family’s business across Hong Kong and Europe gave him deep insights into global jewelry trends. However, upon returning to India, he was saddened to see traditional handmade craftsmanship fading in favor of mass production. Determined to revive India’s royal jewelry legacy, he founded Swaraa Jewels—a brand dedicated to preserving fine craftsmanship while infusing it with modern elegance. Collaborating with Creative Director Dharini, he explored India’s rich artisanal heritage, blending traditional techniques like Meenakari, Jadau, inlay, and Chatai with contemporary designs. At Swaraa Jewels, Gaurang leads with a passion for excellence, using the finest materials and innovative techniques to create one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
